Prof. Tiffany Edwards graduated with a B.S in Criminal Justice with minors in Chemistry and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a M.S with an emphasis in Technical Investigations from the University of Central Oklahoma. Prof. Edwards has over twelve years of experience in death investigation, crime scene investigation, latent fingerprint analysis, and child fatality investigations. Prof. Edwards gained her experience at the St. Louis County Medical Examiner’s Office (M.S practicum work), Shelby County Medical Examiner’s Office (Medicolegal Death Investigator, Memphis, TN) and at the State Law Enforcement Division- SLED (Special Agent, Columbia, SC)

Prof.  Edwards is a current member of the American Academy of Forensic Science (AAFS), the International Homicide Investigators Association (IHIA), International Association of Identification (IAI), Council of Forensic Science Educators (COFSE) and former IAI- Certified Crime Scene Analyst, and a former American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigator – Diplomat.

Currently Prof. Edwards teaches FIS 202, FIS 302, FIS 303, FIS 402 and will be implementing FIS 497-Cold Case Research in Fall 2022 and a FIS Special topics course in Forensic Death Investigation in Spring 2023.
